Hosted my wife’s birthday with 30ish guests at a long table on a Saturday evening. Large venue. Super friendly staff. They helped us serve cake we brought and sang to her. Great evening.

I love this place.No.I mean it.The people here are kind and so friendly. Makes me humbled and happy to be here.The food is Top Notch.If you have the means,I strongly suggest coming over for an experience similar to mine,but all your own.May I suggest the Chorizo Queso Fundido Dip,just to start.And now you're in Taste bud Heaven.Good vibe if you're solo,or on a date.Trust,I will be back.Thanks.

If you from out of town or even from in town. This restaurant is very unique. Has indoor bar and restaurant but also has a rooftop where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Memphis downtown sky scrapers. Waiters are very active and constantly checking clients. The good is very homemade test. The quality of it and the presentation is something to live for. The drinks are just right. The best part is all very affordable.

Los Comales is hands down one of the best Tex-Mex spots around! The food is consistently delicious — bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and always served hot and fresh. Their fajitas are a standout, and the tacos are seriously addictive. But the real star of the show? The margaritas. They’re perfectly balanced — not too sweet, not too sour, and just the right amount of kick. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff that make you feel like part of the family. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or settling in for a night out, Los Comales delivers every time. Highly recommend!

Best Mexican Spot ...thus far!!! This avocado sauce is the best sauce I’ve ever had that comes with the chips and salsa....Granted I don’t care for Mexican food but the wings didn’t disappoint! Drink spot on l,service impeccable and food hot and fresh! Footnote: Second visit each time they were not busy granted is was a weekday around 6-7

I was visiting Memphis Downtown and needed a solid dinner spot—Los Comales delivered! The food and drinks were delicious and super affordable, and I really loved the atmosphere. Here are my takeaways: Environment Los Comales offers a spacious setup with plenty of dining options and multiple bars, making it perfect for any occasion—whether you're alone, on a date, or with a big group of friends. They can accommodate it all. The evening I visited was pretty chill (it was a weekday, so that probably played a role), but the vibe was authentic and relaxed. Service The service was great. Since it was a slower evening, my server didn’t have too many tables, but he still went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. It's a traditional sit-down restaurant service: you come in, get seated, place your order and enjoy. Everything was great! Food Everything I tried was fantastic, and the prices were a breath of fresh air—especially if you’re coming from DC like me, where things can get pricey. I started with a margarita (huge and so good!), followed by some hot, delicious queso dip. For my main course, I had the chicken enchiladas with beans and rice, and it was all so flavorful and filling. If I find myself in Memphis again, I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu. Overall Los Comales is a hidden gem in downtown Memphis. It offers great food, great space, and great service. If you’re in Memphis, it’s worth a visit—no hesitation. Go check it out!

Los Comales Downtown I recently visited Los Comales Downtown, and I was blown away by the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. We made a few suggestions regarding the music and ambiance, and they were more than happy to accommodate. Not only did they listen to our feedback, but they also took immediate action to improve the setting for all the guests. The food was delicious, and the attention to detail made the entire experience unforgettable. It's clear that the team here truly cares about creating a pleasant environment for their customers. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and even better service!

I ordered two carne asada tacos and two shrimp tacos — simple, authentic, and exactly how they should be served. The meat was flavorful, and the portions were just right. I was very satisfied. The staff was also very accommodating with my drink order — they even sent over the manager to make sure we were on the same page, which I really appreciated. Great food and great service. I will definitely be back.
